The Las Vegas Raiders have added yet another wide receiver to their offseason roster after signing a pair of veteran wideouts over the past month.
The Raiders announced on Wednesday that they have signed wide receiver Alex Bachman, who was most recently with the Houston Texans on a reserve/future contract before being cut in April. No corresponding move was needed.
Originally an undrafted free-agent signing of the Los Angeles Rams in 2019, the Wake Forest product last played a snap in the league in 2021 with the New York Giants.
He appeared in four games over two seasons with Big Blue, working as a returner. He had one punt return for 16 yards and four kick returns for 94 yards. His only touch on offense was a carry for -3 yards.
We can classify Bachman as a camp body who will likely get a look as a returner, but his chances of making the roster are slim and none. Bachman is the third add the team has made at wide receiver in less than a month after also inking Michael Gallup and Jalen Guyton.
