The Las Vegas Raiders made a pair of roster moves on Monday, with the team signing a wide receiver and waiving linebacker Darien Butler.
The team announced it has signed former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Terrell Bynum. In a corresponding move, Butler was waived with a failed physical designation.
Butler, a former undrafted free agent who made the team in 2022, was placed on the PUP list to start training camp. He didn't play at all in 2023 after suffering a season-ending injury before the start of the regular season.
General manager Tom Telesco is familiar with Bynum, who spent time on the Chargers' practice squad in 2023. He appeared in one game for Los Angeles but played just one snap on offense.
Following his stint with the Chargers last season, Bynum landed with the Indianapolis Colts via a futures deal in January but was waived in May.
Along with Keelan Doss, the Raiders have now added two wide receivers in the wake of Michael Gallup's retirement, but neither moves the needle and are more camp bodies than anything else.
