When the Las Vegas Raiders are on the clock with the No. 208 overall pick (sixth round) in the 2024 NFL Draft, it will be just the second time in franchise history the team is picking from that spot.
The Raiders acquired the pick from the Kansas City Chiefs in the trade involving defensive tackle Neil Farrell Jr. prior to the start of the 2023 season.
The last time Las Vegas had the pick was in 1993, when the team selected running back Greg Robinson out of Louisiana-Monroe.
Robinson actually had a decent rookie campaign, as he led the team in rushing (591 yards) and tallied 733 yards from scrimmage overall, while adding one touchdown.
But Robinson didn't last long with the Raiders. In fact, the 12 games he played in for the team in 1993 were the only ones he appeared in. In 1995, he joined the St. Louis Rams and appeared in 16 games (one start) over two seasons there.
However, he was never able to replicate what he did in his rookie season, with Robinson serving as a backup and posting 299 yards and one score combined in 1995 and 1996. He never played another down in the NFL after that.
