The Las Vegas Raiders wrapped up their final preseason game on Friday at Allegiant Stadium, which resulted in a tie with the San Francisco 49ers, 24-24.
With the preseason in the books, Las Vegas will now turn its attention to Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The team will have two weeks off before their bout versus Los Angeles after a long and grueling training camp for the Silver and Black.
But before that, the Raiders will have to trim their roster down to 53 players. NFL teams will have until 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, August 27th, to cut their 90-man offseason roster down to the league-required 53.
"Me and Tom (Telesco) going to sit there and pound some tape away, and brainstorm and put some names up there and just look at it," head coach Antonio Pierce said of final cuts. "It's tough. It's not easy cutting 37 men and telling them they've got to find somewhere else to play or whatever it may be. But it's the nature of the beast and we'll evaluate over the next 48 hours."
The Raiders have a slew of decisions to make on both sides of the ball before Tuesday's deadline. As roster cuts are made, we'll keep you up to date with our roster cuts tracker below, which will be updated after every reported transaction.
