After making their third-round selection on Friday night, the Las Vegas Raiders are officially done with Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft and will turn their attention to Day 3, where they have a total of five selections in what is the final installment of the three-day event.
With their first three picks, the Raiders took tight end Brock Bowers out of Georgia in Round 1 (GRADE), guard/center Jackson Powers-Johnson out of Oregon in Round 2 (GRADE), and Maryland offensive tackle Delmar Glaze in Round 3.
So far, the Raiders have not made any trades and have chosen to stick-and-pick in each spot.
Going into Day 3, the Raiders have at least one pick in each round, and they own two in Round 7. Their sixth-round pick comes from the Kansas City Chiefs, and their seventh-round selections come from the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings.
Here's a look at the Raiders' full Day 3 slate:
Round 4, Pick 112
Round 5, Pick 148
Round 6, Pick 208 (via KC)
Round 7, Pick 223 (via NE)
Round 7, Pick 229 (via MIN)
While general manager Tom Telesco received plenty of praise for his pick of Powers-Johnson, it's safe to say there has been at least some criticism of the other two. The Bowers pick did not address a position of need, and many had Glaze going much later in the draft than when the Raiders took him. Only time will tell who was right and who was wrong.
Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft will feature the final four rounds and will begin on Saturday, April 27, with the start time set for noon ET.
