Lamar Miller will not resign with the Miami Dolphins, according to the Sun Sentinel, but two front-runners have emerged to land the free agent's services.
Both of those teams reside in Texas — the Texans and Cowboys. The Cowboys were reportedly talking with the Eagles on Monday about trading for DeMarco Murray — who was traded Monday to the Tennessee Titans — so the team has shown interest in acquiring a running back.

Previous reports said Miller and the Dolphins were at odds on a potential contract value. Miller felt he was worth more than $5 million while the Dolphins wanted to pay him a little less than that. The 24-year-old should intrigue a lot of teams who are searching for a running back.
Miller was successful when he got the ball last season, which wasn't often. In fact, he hasn't been used a whole lot in his four seasons with Miami, so he'll be able to provide some fresh legs for whichever team signs him.
His market will be determined by what other free agent backs, such as Doug Martin, Matt Forte and Chris Ivory, do. Martin is coming off of a season where he finished second in the league in rushing, so he'll be highly valued as well.
