K'Lavon Chaisson compiled 9.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss in three seasons at LSU, and not one of them came against Joe Burrow — not even in practice.

It's pretty standard for quarterbacks to remain untouchable in practice but, considering the season Burrow had in 2019, it makes sense that Ed Orgeron and the rest of the Tigers coaching staff wouldn't even let the defense get anywhere near him. Burrow led the team to the College Football Playoff championship, won the Heisman Trophy and became the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft — but that doesn't mean there wasn't some built-up frustration on part of the defense.

That seems to be the case for Chaisson, himself a first-round pick for the Jaguars. The Jags rookie recently sat down for a Q&A with Bleacher Report, offering a quote that suggests he's ready to put his college days behind him and get after Burrow.

In the Q&A, B/R's Tyler Conway asked Chaisson who he wanted to sack first.

"Joe Burrow," Chaisson said. "Never got a chance to touch him at practice, never got a chance to breathe on him. Will be the first person I want to hit. After I get him down on the ground, I'll lay on him for a good ten seconds and take that fine. Make him feel what he missed out on for years."

Nothing wrong with a little payback, right? One can only assume Burrow enjoyed passing all over LSU's defense in practice — maybe even talking a little smack — without any threat of retaliation. Luckily for Chaisson, those two will reunite in 2020 when the Jags and Bengals meet at Paul Brown Stadium at a to-be-determined date.

That's assuming the 2020 season isn't sacked by the coronavirus pandemic, of course.
