At best the Eagles are taking a wait-and-see approach on Kiko Alonso's knee injury; at worst, the linebacker could be lost for the season.
Tests Monday revealed that Alonso could be placed on injured reserve and miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury sustained in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, according to Fox Sports.

There will be more evaluations, but, according to Fox, Alonso's "season is in jeopardy."
That follows Philly.com's report, citing an unidentified source close to the situation, that said Alonso has a Grade II sprain — a partial tear — of his repaired left ACL that would "sideline him at least a few weeks, but not for the season."
Either way, the Eagles defense, a relative bright spot in dismal 0-2 start, will be without the 2013 Defensive Rookie of the Year runner-up who missed the 2014 regular season with a torn ACL. They were hoping he would add some speed to their linebacking corps.
