Few teams in the NFL went through more drastic changes in the offseason than the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After a few years floating between quarterbacks, the Steelers brought in not one but two potential starting quarterbacks in Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.
While Wilson currently appears to have the top spot on the depth chart, both Wilson and Fields were present at minicamp this week to get some throws in.
Speaking with reporters, Fields talked about his relationship with wide receiver George Pickens. As it turns out, their relationship goes way back.
“I knew George before y’all knew George,” Fields said. “I’ve known George since high school. He’s always been the same. Just a freak athlete, crazy receiver. You can just throw it up there when nobody’s open and he’s most likely going to come down with it. He’s the same player that I’ve known since high school.”
