Julius Thomas will finally take snaps this season.
The Jaguars tight end is expected to make his regular-season debut against the Buccaneers on Sunday, ESPN reported. Surgery on a tendon in his finger kept him sidelined for the first four games of the year.

Thomas initially fractured the middle finger on his left hand in the preseason opener against the Steelers. He underwent surgery on Sept. 1 and has not played since. He battled through an ankle injury for the majority of last season with the Broncos, causing him to miss four games.
Thomas, 27, signed a five-year, $46 million deal with Jaguars in March after spending four seasons in Denver and is expected to provide veteran leadership for a young team led by second-year quarterback Blake Bortles.
