Josh Johnson is still searching for a job after turning down an opportunity in Baltimore.
The Ravens extended the 33-year-old quarterback an offer this week after his workout for the team, according to NFL Network. Johnson "didn't feel it was the right fit," considering he likely would be third or fourth on the depth chart once Robert Griffin III recovers from a broken thumb he suffered over the weekend, Ian Rapoport reported.
After his workout, QB Josh Johnson was offered a deal. But based on RGIII likely returning when the season begins, I’m told Johnson didn’t feel it was the right opportunity. https://t.co/HxJS3c3llZ

Griffin is expected to miss anywhere from four to eight weeks and will be competing to back up second-year signal-caller Lamar Jackson, who made his way into a starting role as a rookie in 2018-19.
Johnson played in four games for the injury-ravaged Redskins last season and threw for 590 yards and three touchdowns. He started three of those games and Washington went 1-3 in the four-game stretch, his first regular-season appearances since 2014.
It appears that was enough to garner interest from the Ravens though.
Baltimore is in need of some experience under center, as Jackson and Trace McSorley, a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, are the only healthy quarterbacks on the roster at the moment.
Jackson helped the Ravens (10-6) win the AFC North in his first NFL season, but they were bounced by the Chargers in the first round of the playoffs. Jackson was dynamic as a runner, but his inconsistency as a passer has led some to question whether he can replicate his success this season.
