Just minutes after he was shaking his arm, Josh Allen was shaking off any doubt when it comes to his arm injury.

The Bills were handed a 20-17 loss by the Jets on Sunday, but Buffalo was holding its collective breath during the final drive; While the Bills had an opportunity to tie or take the lead, Jets edge rusher Bryce Huff chopped down on the arm of Allen, forcing a fumble.

The Bills would recover, but Allen might not have.

Following the hit, Allen was seen grabbing his right (throwing) arm and elbow, before launching a final incomplete throw to Gabriel Davis to seal the loss.

Following the Bills' 20-17 loss to the Jets, Allen confirmed that he was dealing with a little something in his elbow, but wouldn't specify what, exactly.

Allen said he had "slight pain, but (he'll) get through it."

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that Allen is undergoing tests for an injury to his ulnar collateral ligaments and "related nerves."

UCL injuries are most common for MLB pitchers; that's the ligament in the elbow that, if damaged, typically results in Tommy John surgery. It's unclear how severe, if severe at all, Allen's injury is. Bills head coach Sean McDermott said the team should know more in the next 24 hours.

On the play on which he was seemingly injured, Jets edge rusher Bryce Huff stripped the ball out of Allen's throwing arm, bending his arm back as Allen began to load for a throw. 

Following the play, Allen was grabbing his right arm, but it was unclear where exactly he was hurt.

On the third-down throw, Allen threw a ball short to Stefon Diggs. On the game-deciding fourth-down throw, Allen uncorked a ball deep to Gabe Davis, which was on a line.

Injury or not, Allen had a less-than stellar performance vs. the Jets: He finished the game 18-of-34 passing for 205 yards and two interceptions. He also ran for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
