Redskins tight end Jordan Reed exited Thursday's game against the Cowboys with a shoulder injury, but he returned in time to rack up some stats.
Reed was hurt while attempting to catch a high Kirk Cousins pass in the back of the end zone in the beginning of the second quarter when he was hit mid-air and landed awkwardly on his left shoulder. The Redskins' top pass-catcher lay on the ground in obvious agony for several moments before he was taken to the locker room.

The initial fear was Reed could have injured his collarbone, but he returned in the third quarter and made a remarkable catch up the sideline to get the Redskins inside the Cowboys 5-yard line. He then caught a 5-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the fourth quarter and scored from 8 yards out to make it 31-26 with 1:53 to play.
