Colts linebacker Jonathan Newsome was arrested early Wednesday and charged with marijuana possession.
Police were called to the 25-year-old's apartment in Zionsville, Ind., around 2 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a complaint about loud music, according to Fox 59.Marijuana was discovered in Newsome's apartment, leading to his arrest on two counts of drug possession. He was booked into Boone County Jail at 3:37 a.m. and released less than 15 minutes later on $555 bond, according to online records.

A 2014 fifth-round pick from Ball State, Newsome led the Colts with 6.5 sacks in his rookie season.
Ball State suspended Newsome for two games in 2012 after he was charged with marijuana possession that summer. He transferred there from Ohio State, where he was "living it up a little bit too much," he told Indianapolis reporters the day he was drafted.
That history and the most recent arrest could land him the NFL drug program, which would lead to more regular tests.
