Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter was arrested Sunday night after Pittsburgh's AFC wild-card playoff game win over the Dolphins, according to police.

CBS Pittsburgh reported Porter was handcuffed and placed into a police car outside a Pittsburgh bar called The Flats following an "altercation with a police officer." Bar security guards called police about an “unruly customer” around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night, the report said.

In a statement, the Steelers said they were aware of an incident involving Porter but did not offer further details.

“We are aware of an incident tonight involving Joey Porter," the team said. "We are still gathering information as it pertains to the situation, and we will have no further comment until we get more details.”

The Steelers' win set them up with a matchup against the Chiefs next weekend.
