The battle of J.J. Watt vs. Zach Mettenberger and the appropriateness of selfies is back on. Contain yourself.

OK, it's kind of back on, thanks to a recent interview Mettenberger gave to Campus Sports. In the interview, Mettenberger was asked about the back-and-forth with Watt last season.

"He had to say it's a bit high schoolish that I take selfies and I think he still rags me on Instagram every time he posts a selfie," Mettenberger said. "At the same time if that's high schoolish, he got a letterman's jacket ... a Texans letterman jacket made. That's pretty high schoolish to me, wouldn't you say?"

The Watt question starts at the 5:00 mark.

If you watch the video, see Mettenberger's body language and hear him say it, this is all obviously tongue-in-cheek and not an actual shot. Reading it on its own definitely conveys a slightly more aggressive comment.

Judging from Watt's response, the jovial tone of the comment was probably lost.

Uh oh. Watch your back next season Mettenberger.
