Nothing really matters until the pads go on. Finally, these last couple of days at practice the Houston Texans have been able to play something resembling real football. Naturally, some of the players are amped up and getting their competitive juices really flowing for the first time this year. Some scuffles are inevitable, and as long as they don't explode into full-blown brawls there's really nothing that bad about it. The Houston Texans have just had their first such dust-up at training camp.
The brief scuffle broke out between wide receiver Stefon Diggs and safety Jimmie Ward after a hard hit, then tight end Dalton Schultz and cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. also got into it. Here are a few accounts of the fight from people who were there.

Started with Diggs catching a ball in the slot and Jimmie Ward hitting him somewhat hard, but was bang-bang play.
They were jawing, offense and defense had to be seperated.
Then after that Stingley shoved Dalton Schultz to the ground.
First scuffle of camp happens on Day 6. Looked like it was between Derek Stingley Jr. and maybe Dalton Scultz. Stingley knocked Schultz to the ground.

The Texans have joint practices with the Rams next month ahead of their preseason matchup. If there's going to be a real brawl for Houston it'll likely come then.
