According to 49ers CEO Jed York, you shouldn't believe Jay Glazer.
That's what York told NFL Network's Rich Eisen in response to Glazer reporting on "Fox NFL Sunday" that there is no way Jim Harbaugh would return to coach the team in 2015.
York told Eisen that Glazer's report was "categorically not true," a point he initially made in a tweet Sunday afternoon
Jim is my coach. We are trying to win a SB, not a personality or popularity contest. Any more questions?

"In terms of that sustainability, every coach will move on at some point, and I don't think Jim is at that point," York told Eisen. "We've had a great relationship here, we've had three pretty successful seasons so far, and by 49ers standards, unless you're holding the Lombardi Trophy up, it's not truly a successful season, and I think we all know that and understand that."
All of this talk of Harbaugh, who is in his fourth year with the 49ers, comes after earlier reports of players being tired of the coach, the rowns trying to trade for him in the offseason and the constant talk of Harbaugh as a candidate to be the next coach at Michigan.
On Niners, why is anybody surprised?!? Stories for a year on JH vs GM, CLE trying to trade for him, him cutting off talks, plus now players

When Eisen asked York if it was possible that Harbaugh required "angst" in order to excel at his job, the CEO said, "That's pretty fair to say.
"That's how Jim is. Jim competes at anything and everything he does," York said. "That sometimes rubs people the wrong way, but he has an amazing way to be able to pull people together, and find a way to go win tough football games, put himself in a position to have his team have the most success."
