Robert Griffin III was expected to meet with the Jets on Friday, NFL.com reported.
The Jets have yet to reach a deal with free-agent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who started all 16 games in 2015.

Griffin, 26, reportedly has also expressed interest in joining the Rams and, if Colin Kaepernick leaves the 49ers, he could have an opportunity in San Francisco.
Since his Rookie of the Year season with the Redskins in 2012, Griffin has been plagued by injuries. He suffered a concussion last preseason and was ultimately benched for Kirk Cousins, who played all 16 games.
Griffin has 8,097 yards, 40 touchdowns and 23 interceptions in for seasons.
