The Jets' offense couldn’t keep up with the Colts' offense on "Thursday Night Football." New York (2-6) attempted a comeback late in the second half with three touchdowns but still lost 45-30 in Indianapolis.

The Colts (4-5) scored touchdowns on six of their first seven possessions; the one time they didn't get into the end zone, they turned the ball over on downs at the Jets' 1. The Colts finished the game with 260 yards, the most by an NFL team this season. Additionally, they had 272 net passing yards, marking the first time since 1956 that the franchise went for over 250 yards rushing and passing in the same game.

Colts quarterback Carson Wentz finished the game with a 134.3 passer rating. He completed 22 of 30 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had his best game of the season, finishing with 172 yards and two touchdowns rushing plus two receptions for 28 yards.

Jets quarterback Mike White, who led the NFL with 405 passing yards in his team's 34-31 victory over Bengals in Week 8, was forced out of Thursday's game in the first quarter after suffering a forearm injury. The details of his injury have not been released. Josh Johnson came in to replace White, and he finished the game with 317 yards and three touchdowns passing.

Rookie wide receiver Elijah Moore scored his first two NFL touchdowns and led the Jets with 84 receiving yards. New York gained 486 yards of total offense for the game, but Indianapolis finished with 532 yards.

11:33 p.m. — INTERCEPTION, COLTS. Bobby Okereke intercepts a Johnson pass to essentially end the game.

11:33 p.m. — Cole advances 11 yards to set the Jets up for a first-and-goal.

11:30 p.m. — Odum intercepts the ball, but pass interference is called on Rock Ya-Sin, which allows the Jets to keep the ball.

11:29 p.m. — The Jets complete pick up third first down in a row and are now on the Colts' 43-yard line as the two-minute warning approaches.

11:27 p.m. — The Jets stay alive after Griffin catches an 11-yard pass for a first down.

11:25 p.m. — Rodgers almost pulls down an interception deep in Jets territory, but the pass is ruled incomplete. It's a fourth-and-10 for the Jets.

11:22 p.m. — The Colts go three-and-out with 3:17 remaining in the game.

11:17 p.m. — TOUCHDOWN, JETS. Ty Johnson scores on a 22-yard catch-and-run TD pass from Johnson. Colts 45, Jets 30.

11:09 p.m. — Smith ran for 14 yards, short of a first down, on third-and-22, but Isaiah Rodgers is called for a facemask penalty, which advances the Jets 15 yards.

11:04 p.m. — FIELD GOAL, COLTS . Michael Badgley makes a 39-yard field goal. He has never missed a field goal kick under 40 yards. Colts 45, Jets 23.

11:00 p.m. — Pittman catches a Wentz pass and runs for a gain of 19 yards. The Colts are now on the Jets' 28.

10:59 p.m. — Mo Allie-Cox advances 28 yards on a screen from Wentz. The Colts are on the Jets' 47.

10:54 p.m. — TOUCHDOWN, JETS. Ryan Griffin catches a 13-yard touchdown pass from Johnson. This is the Jets' second scoring possession in a row. Colts 42, Jets 23.

10:52 p.m. — Jeff Smith catches a Johnson 12-yard pass. The Jets are now on the Colts' 14-yard line.

10:51 p.m. —  Moore catches a 12-yard pass from Johnson to put the Jets on the Colts' 33-yard line.

End of third quarter: Colts 42, Jets 16

10:45 p.m. — Cole catches an 18-yard pass from Johnson for a first down on the Colts' 49-yard line.

10:41 p.m. — The Colts punt the ball after not scoring for just the second time this game.

10:35 p.m. — TOUCHDOWN, JETS. Moore scores his second touchdown of the game to finally give the Jets an answer to the Colts. They attempted a 2-point conversion, but Johnson got stopped. Colts 42, Jets 16.

10:33 p.m. — Carter completes the Jets' first first down in five possessions. The gain is 19 yards.

10:29 p.m. — TOUCHDOWN, COLTS. Taylor runs for 78 yards for another Colts touchdown. This is his second-longest touchdown this season. The Colts' lead continues to increase. Colts 42, Jets 10.

10:29 p.m. — The Jets cannot answer the Colts as they go three-and-out again.

10:22 p.m. — TOUCHDOWN, COLTS. Offensive lineman Danny Pinter is wide open for a 2-yard touchdown pass. This was Wentz's third touchdown pass of the night. Colts 35, Jets 10.

10:21 p.m. — Hines runs for 25 yards to put the Colts on the Jets' 15-yard line. 

10:19 p.m. — Hines returned  the punt to the Colts' 45-yard line. Then, Justin Hardee of the Jets was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for running along the sideline out of bounds. The Colts get another 15 yards.

10:16 p.m. — The Jets go three-and-out.

10:11 p.m. — The Colts don't score on fourth-and-goal, their first possession without scoring a touchdown. The Jets will get the ball on their own 1-yard line.

10:05 p.m. — The longest pass of the game is now 31 yards after Pascal catches Wentz's pass on the Jets' 7.

10:04 p.m. — Colts rookie Kylen Granson catches a 27-yard pass from Wentz, which is the longest completion for the Colts so far this game.

10:02 p.m. — Pascal catches a 12-yard pass from Wentz on the first play of the second half. The Colts are on their own 28.

9:43 p.m. — TOUCHDOWN, COLTS. The call was overturned. Pittman got both feet down, with possession, before losing the ball. The Colts take a big lead heading into the half. Colts 28, Jets 10.

9:41 p.m. — Pittman catches a pass in the end zone, but it is ruled incomplete. The play goes under review. 

9:40 p.m. —  With 15 seconds remaining, Zach Pascal catches a 12-yard pass to put the Colts on the Jets' 11-yard line.

9:36 p.m. — The Colts open their drive with a Hines 10-yard gain for a first down; 1:46 remaining in the half.

9:32 p.m. — FIELD GOAL, JETS. Johnson throws an incomplete pass on third down, which brings out the Jets' kicking squad. Ammendola connects from 33. Colts 21, Jets 10.

9:26 p.m. — Tyler Kroft catches a 26-yard pass to continue a long Jets drive. They are now on the Colts' 17-yard line. After the play, Kroft heads to the medical tent.

9:25 p.m. — Ty Johnson runs for 18 yards and another first down for the Jets. They enter Colts territory at the Indianapolis 46.

9:24 p.m. — Carter advances 16 yards for a Jets first down to open their drive. They are on their own 41-yard line.

9:16 p.m. — Taylor loses the ball again, which forces the Colts into a fourth down on the Jets' 4-yard line. The Colts go for it on fourth-and-1 and convert. Taylor heads to the sideline to get looked at after getting hit on the play.

9:14 p.m. — Pittman catches a 12-yard pass and avoids another fumble after Jack Doyle recovers the ball at the Jets' 13-yard line.

9:12 p.m. — Taylor runs for 20 yards, but loses the ball. The ball was recovered on the Jets' 26 and remains Colts ball.

9:10 p.m. — FUMBLE. The Colts' George Odom recovers at the Jets' 46-yard line after Darius Leonard forces the fumble. The Colts lead the league with 19 takeaways. It was also Leonard's 13th career forced fumble.

9:08 p.m. — After Johnson is sacked for a loss of 5 yards, Michael Carter advances 18 yards for a Jets first down. They are now on their own 38.

8:27 p.m. — White gets hit by three Colts defenders on third down, which finishes the Jets' drive.
