The Jets have added Kaare Vedvik to their roster.

According to ESPN, which cited unidentified league sources, New York claimed Vedvik after he was waived by Minnesota.

The move marks the second change the Jets have made at the kicker position in the past three weeks.

It seems, however, the Jets had always had their sights on Vedvik.

The team expressed interest in trading for the Norwegian-born kicker three weeks ago, ESPN noted, but the Ravens instead dealt Vedvik to the Vikings in exchange for a fifth-round pick.

Vedvik, who signed with the Ravens before 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent, never played in the regular season.

He landed on injured reserve after sustaining injuries in an assault before the season.

Vedvik hit only 1 of 4 field-goal attempts and missed three kicks in the Vikings' last two preseason games, including a 37-yarder against the Bills on Thursday.
