What did Jerry Jones say to Jamie Foxx? Cowboys owner doesn't 'recall' crude video with actor image

The Cowboys are one of the biggest talking points coming out of Week 3. Dak Prescott and Co. dropped to 1-2 on the season after losing to the Ravens at home. Dallas fell behind 28-6 before ripping off 19 unanswered points, coming just short of a comeback.

While there is a lot of buzz around the team's slow start to 2024, there is more noise around the owner of the team, Jerry Jones. The longtime overseer of the Cowboys is making headlines for a video posted with actor and singer Jamie Foxx.

Jones is no stranger to being featured in the news for all the wrong reasons, as this is far from the first time a quote by the 81-year-old makes the rounds on social media.

So what is the latest from the Cowboys owner? Here's more on what Jones said to Foxx.

What did Jerry Jones say to Jamie Foxx?

Foxx went live on social media during a Cowboys practice session. He was seated with Jones, watching the Dallas team prepare for an upcoming contest. The owner of the organization began reading off measurements of the players, including height, weight and hand size.

What Foxx was caught off guard by was the mention of a different kind of length. Jones made a comment about the private parts of Cowboys members, causing the actor and singer to cut the video.

Jones was asked about the clip during a weekly radio spot on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas and responded by claiming he didn't recall the conversation. It's unclear when the video was filmed.

"He’s a great friend," Jones said of Foxx. "We have had a lot of experience watching players, talking about players, talking about games. It’s just kind of ironic I think when that was supposed to have happened a few years back. But I don’t recall it."

Foxx has not commented on the matter.

Jerry Jones-Jamie Foxx history

Foxx and Jones have a history that dates back years. The famous Hollywood star grew up a Cowboys fan in Terrell, Texas. As his fame increased to the level it is at today, it allowed him to build a bond with the club's owner.

"I’ve been a Cowboys’ fan for so long," Foxx said. "Back in the day, Roger Staubach, as a matter of fact, that’s my alias when I stay at hotels."
