Los Angeles Rams fans have been screaming — literally — for the team to start Jared Goff, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and they might finally get their wish in next Sunday’s home game against the Miami Dolphins.
Should current starting quarterback Case Keenum not perform well in Week 10 at the New York Jets, the Rams will consider giving Goff a go in Week 11, sources tell ESPN.com.
DIAMOND: Why Rams' move is long overdue
After a 3-1 start, the Rams have lost four straight games as Keenum has struggled. On the season, he has nine touchdowns to 11 interceptions and five fumbles. His 77.2 passer ranks 46th in the league.
The Rams are 1-point underdogs at the Jets on Sunday.
