Jameis Winston wasn’t able to work his magic in back-to-back weeks.

The Texans beat the Bucs 19-9 as the No. 1 overall pick and his offense struggled, going 1 for 12 on third down and finishing with 318 total yards.

Winston completed only 47 percent of his passes — 17 for 36 — for 261 yards, throwing an interception and a touchdown for the Bucs. He spent much of his day running from J.J. Watt, though Watt didn’t get a sack, but hit Winston three times.

The Bucs run game didn't do much to help the rookie quarterback, totaling 57 yards against the stingy Texans defense, and the team came up with just 14 first downs.

It was the first win on the season for the Texans, who didn't look much better, but didn't turn the ball over. Alfred Blue's 139-yard, one touchdown  performance led the way for Houston. At 1-2, the Texans are tied for first place in the AFC South.

The Bucs are also 1-2.
