Looks like someone is laying off the crab legs.

According to his teammates, Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston has “toned up a little bit” and is no longer the pot-bellied gunslinger we remember coming into the NFL as the No. 1 overall pick last year.

"He lost a lot of weight. He slimmed out," Bucs receiver Mike Evans told the Tampa Bay Times. "I was joking with him the other day. He took his shirt off, and I said, 'Man, what happened to the belly?' He's got a six-pack like me. He's put in a tremendous amount of work, and I think it's going to be a great year for him and this whole team."

This picture from USF's spring game on April 16 shows a more slender Winston.

Tim Grover, Winston’s trainer, said earlier this offseason that Winston had dropped 18 pounds since the end of the season. Grover, who has worked with NBA royalty like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade, could be the key to helping Winston improve on a Pro Bowl rookie season.
