Jalen Ramsey's trade request has taken an interesting turn.
After it was reported that the Jaguars have no interest in trading their star cornerback, Ramsey called the team Sunday night to say he won't be at practice Monday because he's sick, according to ESPN.

It's unclear if Ramsey is using this is a ploy to hold out until he's traded, though ESPN noted he "is actually legit sick."
Although it cld appear dubious, I'm told Jalen Ramsey is actually legit sick coincidentally, while in the midst of demanding a trade. As for how long this plays out, my understanding is it's day-to-day at the moment as I'm told "all I know is he can't practice today." #JalenWatch

Coach Doug Marrone also indicated Ramsey is sick and said Ramsey is scheduled to see the team's doctor Monday.
Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said Jalen Ramsey is scheduled to see the team doctor this morning. Team will get a report on his condition after that.

News that Ramsey requested a trade broke last week after he and Marrone were seen getting into a heated argument on the sideline in Week 2's game.
He held a press conference Tuesday, where he said he was focused on winning and did not want to distract from the team.
"All I care about is winning, man," Ramsey told reporters. "I want to f—ing win. Straight up. Excuse my language, but everybody know that. That’s who I am. That passion, that fire, that heart, that’s what y’all love, and I’m going to continue giving that as long as I’m here."
Despite wanting to leave Jacksonville, Ramsey played in Thursday night's game, where he had nine total tackles and one forced fumble in the 20-7 win.
