Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who has requested a trade, told the team he wouldn't be at practice on Monday because he reportedly has the flu.
Adam Schefter, who was the first to report the news, suggested that the 24-year-old may not practice at all this week, stoking the trade rumors that have accumulated since Ramsey's sideline scuffle with coach Doug Marrone during Week 2 and causing some to question whether he is actually sick.

Ramsey still wants to be traded; Jaguars want to keep him. Standoff continues.
ESPN's Ryan Clark followed Schefter with a report that Ramsey threw up three times Sunday night and claimed his illness is not a cover for his trade demands.

"Jalen Ramsey is not faking sick," said Clark on ESPN's First Take on Monday. "The hardest thing to do in the NFL is fake sick."
Questioned about Ramsey's absence Monday, Marrone told reporters that he learned of the illness from the team's trainers.
"I'm not getting into that," Marrone said after he was asked if he thought the sickness was suspicious. "... If you're sick, you're sick — what are you going to do?"
Of course, the internet didn't mind lending its speculation that Ramsey might be pulling a Ferris Bueller:

During a recent interview on Uninterrupted's "17 Weeks" podcast, Ramsey claimed it was an upsetting conversation he had with Jaguars management that made him request a trade — and not the sideline incident with Marrone.
The MMQB reports that Jacksonville is seeking two first-round picks in exchange for Ramsey, who was the fifth overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.
