Trevor Lawrence isn't used to suffering losses, but he has already dealt with a few of them ahead of the 2021 NFL season.
The first two were in preseason games. The third appears to be a friendly bet made with one of his teammates.
Lawrence showed up to Monday's Jaguars practice wearing full Georgia gear. This came after Georgia beat Lawrence's alma mater Clemson 10-3 in a top-five clash over the weekend.

Lawrence's teammate, former Georgia wide-out Terry Godwin, recorded the moment and let Lawrence know that he looked good in red and black.

It's easy to understand why Lawrence was confident in Clemson heading into the game. Clemson posted a 39-3 record during Lawrence's three seasons there, and he went 34-2 as a starter with his only losses coming in the College Football Playoff. And his replacement, DJ Uiagalelei, looked good in two starts in place of Lawrence last season.
However, Uiagalelei struggled Saturday to break through a suffocating Georgia defense. As a result, Clemson posted just three points, the fewest of the Dabo Swinney era, and totaled 180 yards in the defeat.
As such, Lawrence had to deck out in Bulldogs apparel, but there is a silver lining for the rookie quarterback. Clemson and Georgia are both still College Football Playoff contenders. Perhaps the Tigers will have a chance to earn revenge against the Bulldogs later in the season.
