The Indianapolis Colts signed free-agent wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, the team announced Wednesday.
With the start of training camp officially arriving, the Colts are taking a flyer on the No. 23 pick from the 2016 NFL Draft.
In order to make room for Treadwell, the Colts waived undrafted free agent rookie wide receiver Xavier White.

Treadwell, an Ole Miss product, has bounced around the league after failing to make good on his draft capital from the 2016 draft.
He spent four seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, the team that drafted him, but amassed just 701 receiving yards across 53 games from 2016-2019.
Treadwell also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons (2020), Jacksonville Jaguars (2021), Seattle Seahawks (2022) and Baltimore Ravens (2023).
The Colts have a deep wide receiver room so the 29-year-old is likely facing an uphill battle to make the roster.
