The Indianapolis Colts safety position may have gotten a bit thinner during Wednesday's minicamp practice.
Though it's initially unclear how severe the injury is, Colts safety Michael Tutsie suffered an apparent non-contact injury during Wednesday's practice.
He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he did not return to practice.

According to James Boyd of The Athletic, Tutsie got his left thigh/hamstring wrapped by a trainer after walking to the sideline.

This isn't great news after the Colts lost 2023 fifth-round pick Daniel Scott to a torn Achilles during OTAs. It's the second year in a row the California product suffered a season-ending injury during offseason workouts.
Tutsie is an Indianapolis native who attended Warren Central High School. He was teammates with Colts cornerback Julius Brents and was a four-time FCS champion with North Dakota State.
After going undrafted in 2023, Tutsie attended the Colts' rookie minicamp. He signed with the Colts in June before being waived/injured during training camp. August. Tutsie was released from the injured reserve list two weeks later with an injury settlement.
He then signed a reserve/future contract with the Colts in January following the end of the 2023 regular season.
