The Indianapolis Colts traded the No. 46 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers, moving back six spots to the No. 52 pick.
With that new pick, the Colts selected Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, bringing in an explosive element to the wide receiver room. His 4.34 speed and elite explosiveness combined with his sure hands gives Anthony Richardson another strong weapon to work with.
The trade the Colts made with the Panthers saw them move back six spots in the second round. In doing so, they added two fifth-round picks—Nos. 142 and 155 overall.
We knew Chris Ballard was going to want to trade back at some point. They added some solid value, especially considering Ballard's success picking in the fifth round.
