The Indianapolis Colts stood pat in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft but then found themselves wheeling and dealing their way through Day 2.
After taking UCLA edge rusher Laiatu Latu at No. 15 in the first round, the Colts moved back from their original draft spot at No. 46 in the second round. They traded back six spots to No. 52 where they took Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. Then, the Colts traded up in the third round to grab offensive tackle Matt Goncalves.
The trade back with the Carolina Panthers added two fifth-round picks while the trade up in the third round resulted in giving up their sixth-round pick.
