The Indianapolis Colts wrapped up the offseason workout program Thursday with the final minicamp practice at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center.
All eyes were on quarterback Anthony Richardson, who exited Wednesday's practice early for what seemed to be an issue with his throwing shoulder. Though no one seemed overly concerned, it was noteworthy that he didn't finish the practice.
This was the final time the team will be together before breaking for summer and arriving back for training camp at the end of July.
Here are the biggest takeaways from Day 3 of Colts minicamp:
Colts minicamp: Takeaways, quotes from Day 3
Anthony Richardson taking precautions
Though Richardson was in uniform and participating during individual drills, it was clear right away that he wouldn't be throwing during practice after his injury scare. He would run through the footwork drills and then toss the ball left-handed when his turn was done.

However, both Richardson and head coach Shane Steichen made it clear they aren't worried about the issue at all. Both reiterated the notion that it was some simple soreness following surgery. Richardson even told reporters they were surprised that this was the first time he had to take a rest day after throwing.
Alec Pierce playing it safe
The third-year wideout was not seen at all for the three-day minicamp due to a foot injury. He was stepped on during OTAs, and the Colts have been playing it safe with injuries. Steichen downplayed any concern of a long-term issue for Pierce.

Practice wraps early
The Colts certainly feel confident they got enough work in this offseason. It was a light day overall, and they wrapped practice 30 minutes early with linemen trying to hit moving targets with passes.
