Before Jefferson signed his mega-deal with the Minnesota Vikings, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL, the Colts reportedly reached out to gauge the availability of the star wideout.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Colts were among the teams interested in Jefferson.

Even though the Colts signed Michael Pittman Jr. to a three-year, $70 million deal this offseason, they were clearly still in the market to add a wide receiver.
Trading for Jefferson likely would have been the biggest move in the history of the franchise, and it would have cost them a lot in terms of money and draft picks.
A deal didn't get done, but it's interesting to know now that the Colts had some interest.
