The Indianapolis Colts are eagerly awaiting the release of the 2024 NFL schedule, and it appears we know when that will be.
According to Ben Fischer of the Sports Business Journal, the league sent out a memo to teams on Tuesday saying that the schedules would be released on Wednesday, May 15, at 8 p.m. ET.
There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Colts, who are hoping to get a full season from electric quarterback Anthony Richardson.
They focused on retaining their own players in free agency, dishing out over $200 million in re-signing players. In the draft, the Colts added some key playmakers in edge rusher Laiatu Latu and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell while adding some depth to the offensive line.
The Colts also face one of the easiest strengths of schedule in 2024, which means their chances of returning to the postseason for the first time since 2020 may be slightly less difficult.
Here's a quick reminder of the teams the Colts will play in 2024:
Home opponents: Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers
Away opponents: Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, New York Giants
