The XFL South could open up in a big way Sunday. 

The Guardians and Renegades will face off in a division battle in Texas. Host Arlington came into the weekend a game out of first place.

Arlington (1-1) is coming off a Week 2 loss to the Roughnecks. Quarterback Drew Plitt has been up and down through two games, throwing two touchdowns but also two interceptions.

The Guardians are trying for their first win in 2023. The team has operated a quarterback carousel among Paxton Lynch, Deondre Francois and Quinten Dormady. One of the three will have an opportunity to lead the way Sunday.
