In light of newly released photos from Greg Hardy’s alleged attack on his girlfriend, member of the media, fans and even ex-NFL players have called for action against the Cowboys defensive end.
Josh Innes, one of the hosts of WIP Philadelphia radio, is taking matters into his own hands by promoting a gofundme.com page with all the proceeds raised going directly to Genesis Women's Shelter in Dallas. Brett "Spike" Eskin, the station's program director, created the page Friday.

"Please continue to share and donate, as we turn the negative of the Hardy situation into a positive for a lot of people," the page reads. "Instead of just complaining about Greg Hardy, we want to do something to help the cause."
In just over one day, the fund has reached $17,414 and will remain open until Monday at 2 p.m. ET.

Hardy and the Cowboys face the Eagles in Dallas on Sunday night. Despite the backlash, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stands behind Hardy.
