Aaron Rodgers has orchestrated many miraculous comebacks in his career, but Sunday night's performance against the Bears may be one of his best.
The game appeared to be on its way to a predictable finish after the Bears carried a 20-0 lead into the third quarter, but then Rodgers, who missed time in the second quarter after injuring his knee, snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
Rodgers and the Packers put up 21 points in the final 15 minutes to claim a 24-23 opening-week victory.
The Bears offense got off to a hot start, scoring 10 points in the first two drives. Newly acquired linebacker then Khalil Mack had an interception return for a touchdown, sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery in the first half.
However, the Bears offense stalled and Rodgers dominated the defense in the latter portion of the game. It was Packers ninth win in their last ten meetings with the Bears.
