The Giants may be coming off a 6-11 season, but New York fans have plenty of reason for optimism ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Daniel Jones should remain the starter for the time being, although offseason signing Drew Lock and 2023 cult-classic backup Tommy DeVito should put some pressure on Danny Dimes throughout the campaign. Head coach Brian Daboll likely has a shorter leash than he did in rebuilding years No. 1 and 2, and GM Joe Schoen just spent a ton of money.
To Schoen's credit, he made the G-men better in a number of different areas. He signed stud linebacker Brian Burns to pair with pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, strengthened the offensive line, and drafted stud playmakers in wideout Malik Nabers and safety Tyler Nubin.
It won't be an easy campaign for New York by any means, with the Cowboys and Eagles remaining strong and Washington likely to improve with Jayden Daniels in town. Non-divisional home games against the Ravens, Bengals, and Vikings will also be tough, as will road tests in Atlanta, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.
