The Giants (1-5) hope to capture their first win at home this season when they host the 3-3 Panthers in their Week 7 Sunday matchup. The Panthers are hoping to break their three game losing streak.
So far this season, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has thrown for 1,524 yards and rushed for 201 yards. He has two rushing touchdowns and four passing touchdowns.
Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold, on the other hand, has thrown for 1,366 yards and rushed for only 62 yards. He has five rushing touchdowns and six passing touchdowns. Darnold is tied with the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts for the most rushing touchdowns made by a quarterback this season.
Two of the Giants’ main targets, running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Kenny Golladay, remain out for Sunday’s game. These two players, along with Jones, left their Week 5 game against the Cowboys with injuries. Jones is the only player to make a return since.
The Panthers’ star running back Christian McCaffrey remains on the injured reserve list for the fourth week in a row.
