The New York Giants got the final day of the 2024 NFL Draft started by selecting Penn State tight end Theo Johnson with the No. 107 pick.
It isn't clear what the future holds for Darren Waller, who has used the entire offseason to contemplate retirement. However, the Giants used this fourth-round pick to grab some insurance at the tight end.
Johnson is a long-term investment and while Daniel Bellinger has shown some promise, there is a good chance he's competing for a significant role in the offense during his first season.

Taking the biggest and fastest players at tight end isn't a bad strategy.
Giants got an absolute DUDE with Theo Johnson. Good for them.
