Giants broadcaster has humorous, real reaction to Patriots QB's 86-yard TD run image

Carl Banks was a Super Bowl-winning linebacker for the Giants in the 1980s and '90s. Now he's one of the team's broadcasters. He has seen lots of players lose jobs in the preseason. He marked a few more for unemployment Thursday night after they were embarrassed on one play.

Patriots rookie QB Danny Etling somehow faked out all 11 New York defenders on the field and then raced 86 yards to the end zone untouched for a fourth-quarter touchdown. After play-by-play announcer Bob Papa called Etling's score, Banks delivered the bad news while "quoting" defensive coordinator James Bettcher:

The eye in the sky doesn't lie, as the football truism goes. The video of that play may lead to multiple playbooks being handed in this weekend.
