The Packers could be facing a bit of a distraction this week as they prepare to take on the Cowboys in Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel uncovered a court report that revealed Packers receiver Geronimo Allison was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana last month after a traffic stop and subsequent arrest in early September.

Allison, an undrafted rookie from Illinois, was officially charged Dec. 15 by the Manitowoc (Wis.) County district attorney's office.
Allison, who came on late in the regular season with eight catches for 157 yards and a touchdown in the final two games, has a court date scheduled for Jan. 23.
"The Packers are aware of the matter involving Geronimo Allison," the team said in a statement released Tuesday. "Because this is an ongoing legal matter, we will refrain from making any further comment."

Allison was pulled over Sept. 4 after being clocked driving 81 mph in a 70-mph zone. The arresting officer detected an odor of marijuana and found three Backwoods cigars on the front passenger seat. Two of them were filled with a “green leafy material” that tested positive for THC, according to the Journal Sentinel.
Allison was on the Packers' practice squad until his promotion to the active roster Oct. 24. He had 12 receptions for 202 yards and two touchdowns in the regular season. He caught just one pass for 8 yards in the wild-card win over the Giants, but the Packers are expecting him to see significant time Sunday with Jordy Nelson likely out with fractured ribs.

The drug charge should not affect Allison's playing status this postseason, but he could be subject to discipline during the 2017 season if he is found to have violated the NFL's policies on substance abuse and personal conduct.
