The Pittsburgh Steelers found a way to win their Week 1 game against the Atlanta Falcons, 18-10, and both running back Najee Harris and wide receiver George Pickens contributed to the victory.
Pickens led all Steelers receivers with six catches for 85 yards. Unfortunately, he did not find the end zone (nobody on Pittsburgh did) and he had a big play called back on what was an awful call by officials on an offensive pass interference.
It was tough sledding for Harris, but he did manage to break off a 20-yard run and finished with 70 rushing yards on 20 carries while also adding one catch for nine yards.
Looking ahead to a Week 2 matchup against the Denver Broncos, should either Pickens or Harris be in your lineup? Let's find out.
George Pickens start or sit advice
George Pickens: Sit
This isn't a great matchup for Pickens, as he's going to have to deal with coverage from Broncos star cornerback Patrick Surtain II, and Denver was tied for the eighth-fewest fantasy points surrendered to receivers last week.
Adding to that, Justin Fields looks on track to start once again and he simply didn't show enough as a passer in Week 1 to instill confidence that he can overcome the Broncos' secondary to get his top receiver the ball.
You could certainly do worse than Pickens in your flex spot this week, but you can likely do better at this early stage in the season, also.
Najee Harris start or sit advice
Najee Harris: Start
Harris couldn't get much going on the ground last week with 3.5 yards per tote, but he did have a big workload with 21 touches. That figures to be the same this week, as head coach Mike Tomlin revealed that fellow running back, Jaylen Warren, isn't completely healthy at the moment.
Harris also draws a matchup with a Denver defense that ceded the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs in Week 1. You can justify Harris as an RB2 this week, but he's better suited as a flex play.
