The Cowboys lost more than a football game Sunday against the Giants, they lost a former player.
Dennis Morgan, who returned kicks and punts for the Cowboys in 1974, suffered a fatal heart attack while sitting in the stands at MetLife Stadium during the Cowboys' 27-20 loss.

After going into cardiac arrest at the stadium, Morgan was transported to Meadowlands Hospital where he was pronounced dead at the age of 63, according to NJ.com.
Morgan was drafted in 1974 by the Cowboys in the 10th round out of Western Illinois, where he was an All-American Honorable Mention in 1972 as a running back. He played just one season in Dallas and four games for the Eagles in 1975 before serving in the U.S. Army, according to his obituary.
Morgan still holds the Cowboys' record for longest punt return with a 98-yard return for a touchdown against the Cardinals.
