Former Indianapolis Colts running back Kenyan Drake announced his retirement from the NFL on Friday.
Drake, who spent the 2023 offseason and preseason with the Colts, was a third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He didn't appear in a regular-season game with the Colts.
Drake announced his retirement via Instagram.
In 104 career games (44 starts), Drake took 869 carries for 3,866 yards and 33 rushing touchdowns. He also had 218 receptions for 1,655 yards and eight touchdowns.
Drake spent most of his career with the Dolphins where he averaged 4.6 yards per carry. He spent two seasons in Arizona has the starter (2019-2020) where he averaged 4.4 yards per carry and scored 18 rushing touchdowns in 23 games.
