Fantasy RB PPR Rankings Week 15: Who to start, sit at running back in fantasy football image

We're talking about playoffs! For most fantasy football leagues, the regular season has come and gone, and six teams are left fighting for the championship. Room for error is behind us — now, you either win or watch somebody else claim the title. This is when start 'em, sit 'em decisions make or break the entire season, so our Week 15 fantasy RB PPR rankings should be starred on your favorites list all week.

You know the drill by now — the upper echelon of the PPR class should be automatically locked in. That includes fantasy MVP candidate Tony Pollard (@ Jaguars in Week 15) and Week 14 behemoth Miles Sanders (@ Bears), who both combine massive talent with superb matchups. Jacksonville has surrendered the ninth-most PPR points to RBs this season, and only three teams have allowed more to the position than Chicago.

With Alvin Kamara (vs. Falcons) coming off a bye and facing a PPR-generous Atlanta D, he's right up there with Najee Harris (@ Panthers) as a must-start thanks to a favorable matchup. Ditto for Isiah Pacheco (@ Texans), who ate well in Week 14 against the Broncos and now gets to tee off against the worst rushing D in the NFL. There's plenty of room for him and ace receiving back Jerick McKinnon (@ Texans) in fantasy leagues. Zonovan Knight (vs. Lions) proved he's not a one-hit wonder last weekend, and he now draws a Detroit squad that ranks last in points and yards allowed. He's clearly the preferred play over Michael Carter (vs. Lions), though Carter, who had six targets last week, has a little higher floor in PPR formats.

WEEK 15 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

We understand owners being wary of Jamaal Williams (@ Jets) after a rough week and guys in tough matchups like David Montgomery (vs. Eagles), Travis Etienne Jr. (vs. Cowboys), and Joe Mixon (@ Buccaneers). But Williams has been a TD hog in just about every game this season, and the other three have high-volume roles in chain-moving offenses.

WEEK 15 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

That includes Aaron Jones (vs. Rams), who faces a shell of L.A.'s Super Bowl defense. Seemingly the only player from the Rams who has rejuvenated himself since the start of the season is Cam Akers (@ Packers), who suddenly started gaining chunk yardage and scoring TDs. Now is the time for your patience in Akers to be rewarded! Green Bay surrendered a combined 518 rushing yards and four rushing TDs in Weeks 12 and 13.

WEEK 15 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

Welcome back to fantasy relevance, JK Dobbins (@ Browns). Now that you're here, enjoy a fantasy feast against a Cleveland squad serving up the fourth-most PPR points to RBs this season. Even Gus Edwards (@ Browns) can put up flex-worthy numbers in that matchup, though his floor and ceiling are lower in PPR formats. Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson (vs. Giants) are two more committee backs in good situations — New York has surrendered the fifth-most rushing yards and 11 total TDs to RBs. Don't worry too much about James Conner (@ Broncos). The Chiefs went off against Denver last week, and Kyler Murray will want to dump off to his security blanket to avoid pocket pressure.

WEEK 15 DFS: Best values | Best stacks

Other guys we don't love in standard formats but like just fine in PPR include Cordarrelle Patterson (@ Saints) coming off a bye, D'Andre Swift (@ Jets) against a squad that squashes rushes but can be exploited via backfield catches, and both Leonard Fournette and Rachaad White (vs. Bengals). White may have taken over the majority of the carry share in Tampa, but both still have upside as pass-catchers in a game that should be high scoring. The same can be said for Devin Singletary (vs. Dolphins) and Raheem Mostert (@ Bills) in what should be a shootout. All of these backs have fairly low ceilings, but they can still work as flexes in 12-team leagues.

WEEK 15 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

If Kenneth Walker III and DeeJay Dallas (vs. 49ers) remain sidelined with ankle injuries, expect Travis Homer to get the bulk of the RB touches in a brutal matchup. He wouldn't be a recommended play, but he could pile up some cheap catches if you're desperate. Ditto for Ameer Abdullah (vs. Patriots) if Josh Jacobs (finger) is out, though Zamir White would likely get more carries.

Fantasy owners will also have to watch for injury updates on Jeff Wilson Jr. (hip) and Damien Harris (thigh). The latter has some flex value because of the favorable matchup, but Wilson Jr. should be left on benches even if he's active.

Note: We'll be updating these RB PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for analysis and the latest player movement.
