FanDuel Picks Week 13: Best NFL DFS lineup advice for daily fantasy football tournaments image

Your season-long fantasy football hopes might be fading to black with the final credits rolling through. Maybe there's a blooper reel that follows of the bad lineup decisions, poor trades, or draft picks that ended up being busts. Or maybe it's a clip of you forgetting to submit waiver claims each week, leaving many valuable players out there for the league to scoop up instead. Regardless, that season is soon coming to an end here in the next few weeks.

Fear not -- DFS ensures that every week is a new season and a new opportunity to win. As we begin the final full month of the NFL's regular season, we're ready to cap this one off with a bang. Before you know it, "Special thanks to FanDuel" will be rolling through those closing credits, as well.

Before we break down our picks and strategy, here are the most notable scoring rules for FanDuel contests: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

WEEK 13 FANTASY ADVICE: Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start-sit

FanDuel Picks Week 13: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

Sunday main slate, $60,000 budget

QB Brock Purdy, 49ers @ Eagles ($7,800). Purdy gets a second crack at the Eagles on Sunday in what profiles to be the game of the week. Last time we saw this matchup, we were treated to countless quarterback injuries on the San Francisco side, sending the Eagles to the Super Bowl. This is a battle between the best the NFC has to offer, a battle of the coasts, and a battle between arguably the Super Bowl favorites. Purdy didn't give his greatest effort on Thanksgiving, but the Niners have found their stride again after the bye week. He can usually be penciled in for a few touchdowns, which bodes well against an Eagles secondary that can be exploited.

RB Rachaad White, Buccaneers vs. Panthers ($7,500). White rushed for 100 yards in Week 12, only the second time in his career that the versatile running back was able to hit that mark. Now he gets a dream matchup against a reeling Panthers' defense that struggles to defend the run. Now that Tampa has figured out how to find production on the ground, White's value is only growing from here.

WEEK 13 DFS:
DK lineup | Best stacks | Best values

RB Devin Singletary, Texans vs. Broncos ($7,000). Dameon Pierce returned last week and didn't have much of an impact for Houston, indicating that this is either Singletary's backfield or a situation where the team will ride the hot hand. Singletary wasn't efficient as a runner, totaling only 18 yards after back-to-back 100-yard games, but he did steal the show through the air, posting 54 yards on a season-high six catches. The Broncos allow the most fantasy points per game to RBs (23.9), and the Texans can't stop playing in high-scoring games. Trust Singletary to continue the run he's been on.

WR Deebo Samuel, 49ers @ Eagles ($7,300). It's Samuel's time of year. As the regular season winds down, Samuel always seems to step up his game for the playoff push. We saw some more evidence of that last week when the receiver was targeted nine times, leading to seven receptions for 79 yards, He also added four carries for 15 yards and a score. Samuel's dual-threat ability will be on display Sunday as the Niners try to track down the Eagles for the top seed in the NFC, making him the perfect player to stack with Purdy.

WEEK 13 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

WR Adam Thielen, Panthers @ Buccaneers ($7,000). Frank Reich was fired on Monday, and that almost certainly means we're in line for the classic post-firing bump on Sunday in Tampa. Panthers' owner David Tepper is in the running for most impatient person in sports, but luckily for us, our patience with Thielen is not wavering. The receiver saw just three targets in Reich's finale, catching one pass for two yards, but Tampa's defense continues to be shredded by WRs, leaving this as a great bounce-back spot for the veteran.

WR Curtis Samuel, Commanders vs. Dolphins ($6,200). Samuel is coming off his best game of the season in terms of usage after seeing 12 targets on Thanksgiving in Dallas. The receiver collected nine of them for 100 yards on a day when Washington struggled to move the ball. Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson will be left to deal with the likes of Jalen Ramsey and Xavien Howard, leaving Samuel to feast against Kader Kohou in the slot. The Dolphins are already down edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, meaning Sam Howell might have a chance to stand upright for an extra half-second. Expect another solid effort from Samuel.

WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

TE Pat Freiermuth, Steelers vs. Cardinals ($5,800). What a difference a new offensive coordinator makes, right? The Steelers still posted just 16 points against the Bengals and continue to struggle to score, but Freiermuth won't be complaining about how they moved the ball. He totaled 120 yards on nine catches in what ended up being a career day for the tight end. Kenny Pickett has always shown a willingness to target the position, and if Pittsburgh is going to work the field like this, we'd be crazy to not take a shot. After what Tyler Higbee was able to accomplish in the Rams' blowout win over this Cardinals team, Freiermuth has a great chance of pulling off a great encore performance, as well.

FLEX RB Javonte Williams, Broncos @ Texans ($6,600). The Texans defense is known for being a stingy group as it relates to rushing yards for the opposition, but Williams comes in with too much volume to pass up. Houston's success this season continues to be on the offensive side of the ball as DeMeco Ryans makes his mark on the defense, but the Texans had their hands full with Travis Etienne, Rachaad White, and even James Conner to a degree in three of the past four. For a player still in search of his first rushing touchdown of the year, we like Williams to have a chance for success on Sunday.

DEF Los Angeles Chargers @ Patriots ($4,600). Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe? Does it matter? The Patriots are a bad football team from top to bottom, an organization rotting away from the inside out. The future is grim, and not even a star quarterback in the draft can fix what is arguably one of the worst rosters in the sport. They don't have one player that would keep a defensive coordinator up at night. The Chargers might not let Brandon Staley back on the plane if his defense manages to lose this game. This pick is a no-brainer.

Best SuperDraft NFL DFS Picks for Week 13

This year, we're also listing our favorite DFS plays on SuperDraft

For those unfamiliar, SuperDraft's DFS scoring involves point multipliers as opposed to traditional salary-capped or tiered contests. A winning lineup will likely feature a strong mix of stud fantasy contributors with 1x-1.6x boosts, as well as matchup-based sleepers with larger multipliers. Each player is assigned a scoring multiplier based on their value as determined by SuperDraft. Users can roster any player in their lineup with no restrictions.

  • QB: Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (Multiplier 1.05x)
  • RB: Christian McCaffrey, 49ers (Multiplier 1x)
  • RB: Rachaad White, Buccaneers (Multiplier 1.3x)

This week's SuperDraft lineup features what we hope will be plenty of touchdowns. From CMC and a Miami stack that is destined to deliver to emerging players like White, Robinson, and Freiermuth, this lineup is surely taking home some green in Week 13. It's just a matter of how much it'll be.
