The Atlanta Falcons lost running back Tevin Coleman to a hamstring injury during Sunday's 33-30 loss to the San Diego Chargers, and are now bracing for him to miss time.
"He's dealt with these strains before and he is a fast healer,'' Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said, via ESPN.com. "So we'll find out how long he'll be out.''

Devonta Freeman is the only other running back on Atlanta's active roster, but Quinn said the team will look internally for options should Coleman miss time. Terron Ward is an option currently on the practice squad.
"We're discussing that big this afternoon,'' Quinn said. "Fortunately for us, Ward is here, and he's somebody that's got game experience in the system and somebody that we can totally rely on.''
Coleman has been acting as the team's main passing back with a few carries mixed in to spell Freeman. Though Freeman made the Pro Bowl last season, the Falcons coaching staff was impressed with Coleman during the offseason and preseason, leading to his sustained role.
If Coleman is out this week, Freeman will be a must for fantasy purposes against the Green Bay Packers.
