The Atlanta Falcons handed the Denver Broncos their first loss of the season Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Running backs Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman led the Falcons (4-1) to a 23-16 win by attacking Denver's vaunted defense. Coleman made his biggest impact through the air, hauling in four passes for 132 yards and a touchdown. He also added 31 yards on the ground.

Freeman rushed 23 times for 88 yards and a touchdown, while also corralling three passes for 35 yards.
The two running backs have formed a dynamic duo so far this season that no one has figured out how to stop.
Paxton Lynch, who made his NFL debut last week after Trevor Siemian went down with an injury, struggled in his first career start. He completed just 23 of 35 passes for 223 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He was also sacked six times.
Denver (4-1) made a late run in the fourth quarter when Demaryius Thomas reached over the goal line to score with just over two minutes left in the game. But it wasn't enough to upend the Falcons.
Despite being underdogs heading into the game, Matt Ryan and the Falcons continued to prove they're for real. Ryan, seemingly a new quarterback after last year's struggles, completed 15 of 28 passes for 267 yards and a touchdown.
Atlanta has now defeated both teams that participated in last season's Super Bowl.
